Microsoft Office 365 Integration Restriction in China starting May 31, 2023
As shown in the figure below, Trimble Connect for Browser has an integration with Microsoft Office 365 that enables files stored in Connect to be launched in Microsoft Office 365 environment.
After 31-May-2023, this integration will not be available for users in China.
Impacts for users in China:

Users in China will no longer have the option to open Microsoft documents in Connect in the Office 365 environment for viewing or editing purposes. They will have to download, edit files in relevant desktop applications and upload again to Trimble Connect.

If users had bookmarked particular URLs of files opened in Office 365 Viewer, the URL will open in Connect’s 2D Viewer (for docx, xlsx, pptx, doc, xls, ppt file types).
