We are excited to announce that we have successfully completed Phase One of our initiative to migrate WorksManager accounts, projects, and data into a Common Data Environment. While there are currently no visible changes to your daily workflow, this backend migration is a critical step toward a more unified and robust system.
As part of this transition, we want to inform you of a temporary change regarding the Admin Self-Invite functionality.
What is Changing?
Previously, Account Admins could view all projects within an account and "self-invite" to any project they did not create.
Because our newer integrated systems do not natively support the direct concept of "self-inviting" to a project, this specific feature will be temporarily unavailable for approximately two to three months. To avoid confusion, the "My Role" column for self-invite will be removed from the projects page until the feature is reinstated.

The Workaround
We understand this may cause an inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we refine our infrastructure. Until the feature is restored, please use the following workaround:
- Request an Invite: Any existing project member with Project Manager permissions can invite you to a project.
- Project Creation: WorksManager Admins can still continue to create new projects as usual.
The Path Forward: Account Admin Migration Strategy
Our team is currently working with central systems to deploy a fix that will allow us to bring back self-invite capabilities. Once this fix is ready (estimated in 2–3 months), we will begin a targeted migration of admin users:
- Active Admins Only: We will migrate all active customer and dealer admins into the newer system.
- Security & Clean-up: This is a conscious decision to ensure that only those who currently require high-level privileges are moved over, as many accounts have legacy admin users who no longer need those permissions.
- Internal Users: Internal account users with admin capacity will not be included in this specific migration.
Once this migration is complete, the self-invite functionality will be fully reverted, allowing admins to access projects as they did before.
