- Terrestrial and Photogrammetric Point Clouds: Advanced point cloud filtering, allowing users to create specific point cloud regions based on elevation data within sampling cells, making tasks like isolating bare ground more efficient.

A Trimble® Business Center v5.90.1 patch is now available to download from the web, or you can perform an update to your current installation using the Check for Updates command in the software. This version fixes a variety of bugs and known issues, and it includes several new features. Please review the ReadMe for a comprehensive list of all the changes.

• Mobile mapping batch processing — Long pre-processing operations like scan generation, classification and colorization can be performed more efficiently in overnight sessions.
• Simplified point cloud stockpile extraction — Automatically generate stockpile boundaries and calculate volumes without manual interaction.
• Point cloud classification and feature extraction — With the implementation of deep learning capabilities, point cloud classifications are of higher quality and feature extraction has higher accuracy.
• Multi-code point feature specifications — Selectively or automatically assign feature codes during point extraction, allowing flexibility to assign appropriate feature codes to varying extracted features when necessary.
• Expanded extraction support — Automatically extract manhole diameters and extract multiple road markings of the same type within an area of interest, increasing speed.
• Streamline GIS Interoperability — Exchange survey data with ESRI Feature Service or postgres database.
• Expanded third-party UAS support and higher-quality deliverables—Support any type of drone with the expanded sensor library in addition to access to tools that eliminate bright spots, enhance geometry in shadow areas
and more.
• Improved power, process and speed — Existing workflows across cadastral, mobile mapping and takeoff/mass- haul while building on industry-standard CAD imports and tailored routines for Trimble and third-party field data formats have improved.

This minor release includes new features such as the International GNSS Service (IGS) adoption of IGS20 reference frame to support precise orbits, support for DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E) Series UAS, and inclusion of GPS exif attributes for mobile mapping image exports.
In addition, v5.81 includes bug fixes such as supporting the Trimble Access™ 2022.10 JXL and IFC properties in JOB files; importing and printing PDF plan sets, CAD grips and snaps; and correcting the subscription license failure when performing photogrammetry processing; and more.

Because Trimble takes cyber security measures seriously for all of our users past and present, TBC v5.52 includes the following security updates, which are required to support various features as described:
• Trimble Identity (TID) — Security for ID profiles has been enhanced to provide safe, continued support for products within Trimble that require a TID (for example, Trimble Clarity).
• Data streaming — Security for data streaming from TBC to Clarity and for exporting KML with panoramas has been enhanced to provide safe, continued support for these features.
• Trimble web services — Security for Trimble web services has been enhanced to provide safe, continued support for this feature.

Import, process, register, calibrate and export Trimble MX50 raw data - TBC now supports the new Trimble MX50 Mobile Mapping instrument. Use tools to do the following (as applicable):
• View and overlay image, laser and trajectory data.
• Navigate in the Plan View, 3D View, and Run View.
• Import and apply a post-processed trajectory to image and/or laser data.
• Create and colorize a point cloud.
• Georeference MX50 data with the registration tools.
• Calibrate either MX50 camera or lasers.
• Use TBC’s point cloud, CAD, and GIS tools to work with the MX50 data.
• Export the MX50 data to TMX, TopoDot and Solv3D.
• Integration of POSPac in TBC - You can compute the SBET trajectory information within TBC without having to use the Applanix’s POSPac MMS application.
•
