Hi everyone,
I'm Arwin Rai, a student currently learning and experimenting with Trimble Perspective and Trimble RealWorks. Lovely connecting with you all. So far, I've been scanning with the X9 using the tablet (Perspective) and generating refinement reports at the end. My latest report showed an average error of 0.8 mm, 56% overlap, and 98% consistency.
I'm trying to understand what these results mean. I noticed that about 10–15 links are amber, while the rest are green. I'm not sure why those amber links appear or how to correct them. Even after being careful with manual registration in RealWorks, I still can't pinpoint where the issue lies. Could this be due to a gap in my understanding of the basics?
Also, if there's a guide or manual that explains this in more detail, I'd really appreciate it.
P.S. Since I'm a student, I don't have access to a GNSS receiver or ground control points with known coordinates. However, I have been placing multiple circular targets as reference points.
