Problems with surfaces coming from Agtek

I  am fairly new to TBC, and I am having trouble when converting files from Agtek when on a machine.  The surface comes in with triangles shaded differently and causing the machine blade to jump or even disable the automatics. I have tried exporting the files from Agtek as a TTM, XML, 3D DXF, and any other way I could find and the problem still exists.  Any help is appreciated.

have you tried densifying the surface before exporting out from AgTek? possibly try importing (to TBC)the appropriate and once the surface is in TBC.  Make the surface alignment base.  In TBC you would select the surface and open the properties of the surface which will show you the property to make the surface alignment base.   

I have only dealt with cross section surface from Agtek to TBC and have had the AgTek guy change his surface distance to a number smaller that what is the default ( TBC is called densify).
