To be able to read the soil surface and/or layers from the Quadri model, it is necessary to create an “Elevation from Surface” task in Quadri for Windows. This task is selected as input in the GeoSuite “Terrain model” tool for reading from Quadri.

1. Select the “Elevation from Surface” tool from the “Modelling” Tab.
2. After giving av proper name and placement in the task tree - Select “Calculation basis”.
3. Select the models to use.
4. Click “OK”.
5. Finish the tool.
   

   

1. Create or open av valid cross/long-section in AutoCAD/Civil3D.
2. From the “GS Profile” Tab - Select the “Terrain model” tool.
3. Select the result from the “Elevation” tool.
4. Click “OK”.
   

   

The result will be plotted as lines in long/cross-sections:
