How do I get WMS to display on the TSC7?

Ok, I've opened a couple of discussions asking where I can get a free WMS, but I can't get any to display. Every WMS I find I've converted a known coordinate to the ESG coordinate system, then created a job using that coordinate system. For an example I loaded a FEMA WMS - https://hazards.fema.gov/nfhl/services/KMZ/KMZ/MapServer/WMSServer?

I saw it is using ESG:4326, so I then created an ACCESS job.

I then took known Arkansas State Plane North coordinates in a TBC project and converted them to WGS 15N. The point showed up on the map in the correct location.

Next I keyed in the coordinate in the ACCESS job, and chose stake out, but the WMS does not display.

I've tried this with multiple WMS.

https://geo1.oit.ohio.gov/arcgis/services/OSIP/osip_best_avail_1ft/ImageServer/WMSServer?

https://tigerweb.geo.census.gov/arcgis/services/TIGERweb/tigerWMS_Current/MapServer/WMSServer

What am I doing wrong? How do I get these to work, and are there any out there that work in NAD83? I don't care if it's a pay site.

i'm not familiar with your coordinate systems, since i am up in canada, but from how you worded your question it looks like you are assuming that the WMS comes into access with the correct system(ESG:4326). maybe you did select this, but if you did not then i believe it is something that you need to figure out from the database that provided the WMS.

regardless, i played around with the WMS in our area, i got it to work, but found it is slow to load and the one i found is not detailed enough. for us, all i want is a google earth background image and i have not found an easy way to load google earth. seems like this could be an easy update and would then make it so we are not jumping between access and the google earth app. or even worse the data collector and an ipad. this should be a dead simple task, but the WMS system makes it difficult.

You don't set your coordinate system in TA to the coordinate listing of WMS.  It's partially dependent on how the WMS is setup by the WMS owner and if all their settings are correct.  I am in Ohio but can't get all their imagery WMS to show up.  One of their WMS will only show up if the coordinate system in TA is set to the "other" state plane zone for Ohio.  But you do need to select the coordinate system in the WMS with the widest range of values:

I was finally to find one that worked. https://www.mngeo.state.mn.us/chouse/GLO/index.html

https://mcs.gisdata.mn.gov/arcgis/services/mngeo/MN_GLO_Plats_cached/MapServer/WMSServer?
I set it to EPSG:26915. I then created a JOB that was set to UTM-NAD1983 (2011)(7P) 15N and the units to Meters.
Still no luck on the other sites I've previously tested.
