How to change geoid model in Trimble Business Center?

Hi,

I am pretty new at TBC. I have a base survey data which was surveyed in EGM 2008 India geoid model, when I choose EGM 2008 India geoid model to add it in TBC it disappears from plan view. But if I choose EGM96 model it shows the file. But I am pretty sure the survey was done using EGM 2008 model. I don't know what seems to be the problem.

I'm sure you'll get a few better answers than what I have to offer but...

If you have changed the coordinate system, make sure that the project is recomputed. If there is a red circle in the lower right, then it needs to be recomputed. To do that either hit F4 or click that red circle.

You should see a warning if the geoid model doesn't match the imported data. You have an opportunity to match the coordinate system settings of the imported data on import if they are different.

If you need to add a geoid model, that is done through coordinate system manager.

Finally, if you think you have everything set and recomputed and the data still doesn't show up, then you might have the wrong geoid model. In my experience, TBC won't display GNSS data if it doesn't fit within the area of the geoid model.
