Are there any Trimble Access users out there who have a workflow for Trig leveling using Trimble Access?
I know there is a third-party app Level Me, however just wondering if anyone has a technique using the standard Access software?
There is a great article regarding this technique and its benefits in the XYHt publication:

Motorized Trig Leveling - xyHt
EDITOR'S NOTE: Conventional surveying wisdom holds that differential and spirit leveling-and, specifically, digital-are superior to trigonometric leveling. But, with today's improved instruments, software, and methods (developed over several decades of testing by many parties), results have shown that trig leveling can, if executed with meticulous care, rival these more conventional methods.

Hi Ed,
It's a piece of cake in move3 or Star*Net.
Call me.

Are you asking about getting elevations only without having horizontal position defined? TA and TBC want you to have your horizontal position established. If you have 3D control, it's you'll be able to run a network adjustment in TBC. You'd be wanting to use the same point number observed points if you happen to be coming back through the same points again. The Network Adjustment is a very powerful adjustment.

Hi Robert,
Yes, you are correct, essentially looking for an alternative to using the Trimble Dini level. Generally, my control establishment will always involve levelling to confirm RLs after 2D co ords have been established.

My agency has been emphasizing 'trig levelling' (I believe 'differential trig levelling' is a better term), since I started in the early 90's. We had a paper based process the whole time. I used to re-code that into an M3 .dat file for use in TBC. LevelMe has been a game changer. We now only use our DiNi's when we have long runs on very flat ground.
LevelMe has gotten a lot better since it first came out. There are some things that I would definitely like to see it do differently, but it does the job pretty well and I highly recommend it. Couple it with a fixed height pole and a blunt 'tip' and, along with good procedures, you can get results that rival a DiNi with an invar rod. Actually have better results on hilly terrain because you will have 1/6 the number of turns.
LevelMe can pay for itself in 1 day.

Hi Dave,
Good to hear that I'm not the only one who can see the benefits of
'differential trig levelling'!
The only reason I was asking about a workflow in Trimble Access is that it looks like Level me is not supported past 2019.xx.
