 Vertical Design Errors

Hey everyone!

I'm wondering if anyone could point me to more information for troubleshooting errors in a vertical design? I've attached a screenshot of the error that I'm getting, and I can't quite figure out where my problem lies. Has anyone else had this problem? Notice how the check boxes for "locked" are greyed out. I'm attempting a simple -2% crossfall rule from centerline. Any input would be appreciated!

Jason,

The locked checked boxes represent that the line is already a 3D line that will be used as the mainline. Every other line that is 2D will not show as locked.

The line you are trying elevate has been added to the selection set? Is that line curved, or looped?

Thanks for the reply Mike. Since I posted this I've updated to v5.50 and it seems to be a non issue now, so perhaps it was a bug with v5.40. Which I'm happy about because the Vertical Design tool is a staple in my surface prep workflow.  I still have the question though, is there a write up or any more info on the Vertical Design parameters? I've watched the power hour that Patrick did, but I'm wondering about troubleshooting if things don't go smoothly.
