Is there anyway to create labels (text) at random Chainages along an Alignment,

I've got a Railway CL about 20km long and an Excel Spreadsheet of about 20 points where Overhead Power lines cross this alignment,

I want to create "Ticks" at these Chainages and to label  them - this is the part I can't see easily how to do (use to be easy in Terramodel)

then export to DXF so I can go into the field to survey / check the overhead line clearance

Found a solution 

Under Data Prep Macro,

Sta/Offset Points

Create Points

Then label those points

That works John - we are just wrapping up an XLINES command for this exact purpose - should be out in the next week or so.
