I was working on another template and went backwards on some stations. All of a sudden all my nodes are attached to my alignment? What would cause this. only way I can get them back to where the belong is redo all of my instructions?

    Erik

I have no idea what you could have done to cause all nodes to change - unless somehow you deleted some important piece of information that made the Template totally lose track of what it was doing - I have for sure never seen that happen, and apologies - I have no suggestion as to what you could do to fix it - you could try Undo a few times to see if it comes back - but you may have no idea of how far back to go

    Alan,

I couldn't go back for enough. It was saved before I noticed it. I can go ahead and do the same exact instruction that is messed up and it will do what its supposed to. Guess I'll just go through and duplicate the instructions that are messed up.

I've just noticed when creating a new utility run that there is an option in there to add a reference alignment, I don't know if this is what happened but could you have potentially selected the alignment as a reference then changed it?

I haven't had the opportunity to see what effect this has on the utility run, just spotted it and thought it might be relevant.

Yeah, This isn't what happened I don't have the Utility Module yet. It's weird I can recreate the same exact instruction and it will work the way I want it to. I just went ahead and redid all the instructions. It was also doing something funny. I have my depths for my base/gb/sg offset vertically from my pave cut. The further I went along the alignment the nodes started to stray away (horizontally) from my "2" pavecut node.I ended up deleting everything and started from scratch and it worked the way it did before.

Ah well, was just a thought.
