Isopachs at intersection of two surfaces

How to create isopachs at intersection of two surfaces?

I need to create a line string that represents cut/fill line and additional strings at a specified interval that represent height difference between two surfaces.

Something that provides output like GC25 and SHADEISO in Terramodel.

I tried to create cut fill map between two surfaces and display cut/fill line, but CF line cannot be exploded and later draped onto target surface.

Also, in the simplified example where one of the surfaces is a plane, I tried to manually snap to surface-plane intersection in Cutting Plane View but snaps seems not to work in that View.

    Regards,

    Marian

    Hi Marian,

If you use the command Create Contour At Elevation on your CF Map, and put 0 for the "elevation," this will create lines at the daylight that you can edit/explode, etc.

Or you can use the Surface Intersection macro from RockPile Solutions if you set up access.

    Thanks Cary,

Haven't tried the macro, but the contours on the CF Map were exactly what I needed.

    Cheers,
