Hi, 

I'd like the Plan View to be centred on the same point in both views, if I choose to Pan or Zoom in one tab, the same operation would be performed in the other tab.

Is it possible, while working with two Plan View tabs, to lock view operations so they would be performed on both tabs simultaneously?

don't think that's possible right now. Would only make sense if we could set the view filter independently for every view, which, as long as I know, we can't.

Then you could see i.e. the road strings in one view and services in the other.

As it is right now you would see exactly the same in both views, which is a pointless waste of screen space.

I'm with you on that, would be good.

Different View Filters are possible.

Better yet, View Filter Manager changes dynamically based on the last Tab clicked on.

Totally Agree on this. I am doing revision reviews this morning and this would be very useful.

I have one screen with the working drawing data and the adjacent screen has the revisions. 

I have forwarded to Trimble Development for Review to see what they think would be possible.

Being able to click on the tab and pick the view filter would be awesome. Especially when working with multiple windows and multiple screens.

This would be a useful enhancement. Related to this I use the Center function quite often to find and zoom into a point of interest in a large data set which is really useful. It's great that a selected point is also selected in other View Panes such as the Point Spreadsheet. However having another Pane open disables the Center function working, which is a bit of a.... pain. 

Having multiple view open doesn't effect the "center" command. The command uses the "active" view to decide which view gets "centered". If a non graphical view (like alignment editor) is the active view, the command is disabled.

If you have several plan view open and want to center one of them, just select that views tab (where the view name is shown) to make the view the active view.

On a similar note we've had a customer request today to enable the Center function to operate in a way with non-graphical data views like the Point Spreadsheet and the Project Explorer. So for example if you select a point in a 3D View and choose center (or find or some other terminology) to query it further, then the point's entry in any open spreadsheets and/or the Project Explorer  is scrolled to. 

Take a look at this video Preview of a new "Lock Views TML" created by the TML Team at RPS. Let me know if you think that this solves the problem you guys are asking to be solved. This will be released next month as a part of a major release of TMLs from RPS in May.

Is TBC development team considering including functionality like this is in vanilla version of the TBC at some point in the future?

I fed this one back to the TBC Dev team for consideration as we already highlight the line in the spreadsheet but don't center it on screen in the spreadsheet view - I hope that they can solve this one also for you.
