Hello,

I am running TBC v 5.32.1.

1) I am still getting green back ground when trying to plot with background aerial images on.

2) Presence of "Draped Points" in the project prevents the dynaview from being generated when "Building Sheets".

Is any one else having the same issues?

And how about fixing all the other dramas with TBC, has any one heard of any progress on that?

What do you mean by Draped Points? 

When you say you are getting a green background  - where are you seeing that - in sheet view or on the output PDF or Plot Sheet or both

Do you only have a background image or do you have a cut fill map or other on top 

Can you share the project with me so I can take a look at what you have set up

Hard to tell what the issues may be without the data

Points draped onto surface.

Background Image Only. No Cut fill Maps.

It is the same issue that I had when 5.30 (or was it 5.31?) was released... When dynaviews stopped to work etc.

Can you share the project with me so I can take a look at what you have set up

When you produce the PDF are you using the Trimble output to pdf or using a

print to pdf driver capturing the plotted output and writing it to a pdf

I use mostly Trimble output, but in that case I am getting green background with Trimble PDF driver / my own PDF drivers / regular paper printer.

So I have been testing Dynaviews with Drape Points and I cannot fail the system yet at least - not sure what you are doing differently - can you share the project where this was an issue?

On the Green PDF - I am working on that now to see if I can reproduce it

What size sheet are you printing to? I wonder if you had a memory buffer overflow when printing to a very large sheet or something?

How many sheets were you printing?

Were you saving the PDF to your hard disk or to a Dropbox / Onedrive type location as that could make a difference?

I am printing 5x A3 Sheets with super High Res Imagery today to see if that works or not. I also have overlaid surfaces and cut fill Maps.

The 5 sheets came out just fine - so I need more detail as to exactly what you were doing - the project would be helpful.

Maybe it is your Drafting Template? Have you tried a different Template?

Challenge with all these things is first proving that an issue on your PC is an issue on other computers, and if Yes then we can track it down. If just an issue with your PC then we need to look at your setup to see if that is causing the issues. Many of these types of problems can be data specific, so without the data it is hard to check because we are comparing different files and different setups and that may never raise the issue

If you can share the project that would help us isolate the issue

Hello Alan,

I noticed that the issue appears in the files that were created using v5.31 and then later opened in v5.32.

I cannot recreate the green background problem in files created in v5.32.

Turning background transparency for georeferenced images off does often help.

I am printing 1 sheet to A3 with a georeferenced JPG in the background ~30MB in size.

I have deleted my project created in v5.31 and am using one created in v5.32.1, so everything works now.

I will send you the VCL should I run into that drama again.

Managed to recreate the problem in the project created in  v5.32.1.
