Is there a way to export dwg files from cross sections?

I would like to create dwg files from my cross sections.

    Hi Woody,

Yes, you definitely can export to .dwg/.dxf. One way to do it is to select your sheet set and hold Shift or Crl and select all the individual sheets and go to Export command. This will allow you to see you sheets in another CAD package.

Please let me know if this works.

    Cheers,

    Boris

That works great, except it only exports the first sheet.

I have 16 sheets, I select them all and it exports.

When I open it in Autocad, It is only the first sheet.

    Scratch that…

    That worked like a charm.

    Thank you!

Landxml export can be set to include profiles and cross sections.

Is there a pdf or instructions on how to do this?

The are placed in paper space.  If you import the dwg back in to TBC they will create sheets.

    Hello Woody,

If you select a cross section or cross sections in the sheet view, then create a block out of it/them you can then export the block as a DWG. Will this work for you?

I figured out to select the sheets, then export as dwg.

I cant get all of them to work at once.

This is how it appears. The white rectangle at the bottom left near UCS Icon is the actual paper dimension.

I can export individual sheets to model space. Not all at once.

Terramodel has a better choice. All XSections appear in one AutoCAD paper space. I can then create a block of them all together and insert in model space. That was easy.

Any chance we can have similar facility in TBC?
