The ability to turn on/off all layers with a single toggle.  If layers are grouped this is not possible without having to do one by one.

    Hey Travis,

Here are some procedures I use for layer control.

I create view filters that you can assign different groups to be on or off.

I set up those filters using a combination of the below basic options below.

Layer control options are as follows:

    • Right Click and select View All/ Hide All
    • Holding down shift or ctrl allows multiple layers to be selected that can be turned on and off
    • Turn off/on a group all layers assigned to that group will turn off/on.
      • Layers have to be assigned to groups in the layer manager

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tips, Nick. Travis, I have also forwarded your idea to the TBC Product Managers as an enhancement request.

    Travis,

What we do for this is hold down shift and double left click on the +/- to open/close all groups at the same time.  When all groups are closed, you can then select each group individually to turn on/off.

I just learned the trick for showing/hiding all layers in all groups in three clicks:

    1. In the View Filter Manager, select any layer group that contains layers (not an empty group).
    2. Right-click and select View All or Hide All.

If you do the same on a layer within a group, it only works for that group. Otherwise this should give you what you are looking for.

Nice. I didn't know this trick either. I know we can "Hide/View All" all the layers at once but didn't know we can do it within a layer group.

Would like to see this option to advanced to be able to select all groups & Compress Groups at once in lieu of one by one

    Travis,

I think Tip of the Week #64 may be what you are looking for to do this.
