Your approach should consider how many you have, why you have them and what you are going to do with the points. Points with the same xyz can be used in a surface without a problem. If they have different elevations the program will pick one and give you a flag for the other. If there are a few you can decide which one to use and delete the other or at least remove it from the surface.
Selecting duplicate points will tell you how many you have. The following commands can be used to find and fix them.
Selectduplicatepoints
Selects points within a tolerance of each other.
Mergepoints
Combines points within a tolerance into one.
Pointsview
You can select the duplicate points and then sort by x or y and delete them by selecting the lines.
If you have lots of duplicate CAD points you should evaluate why and try to fix at the source.
