Importing txt/csv file formatted as CH,OS,RL

    Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way of importing a txt/csv file with the data in a format:

    P_ID,Chainage,Offset,Elevation,Code

Quite often I find it handy to create the design data based on chainages(stations) and it would be good to have a possibility of importing that to TBC with selection of reference line it is attached to.

So far I couldn't figure out how to do it.

    Any ideas?

You can do that. Start the help via F1 and search for "TBC Excel".

Or see here How do I import a Station, Offset, Elevation file into BC-HCE?

The first line of your CSV needs to have the statement "TBC Excel"

The elevation needs to be a true elevation unfortunately it can't be a relative value to the vertical alignment.

You have to create an Alignment out of your reference line.

If you create them as dependent they will move in case you change your alignment later on.
