Take off calculations hang up TBC

    Hi forum!

     

    If you have the time, please take a look at the project i have attached. Dropbox - Bolighuset.zip - Simplify your life 

     

    When i am trying to do a earthwork report TBC gets stuck at 15% with the std report and 99% with the bigger one. Every time, i have tried several restarts. If i just do the report surface to surface it works fine. 

     

    Or is it just my computer? 

     

    Dont look to much on the surfaces, this is just e really simplified calculation, we usually to them much better.

    I tried your project and I get the same result, it locks up at 99% in the Launch Excel report and the concise report.

    Hmm, so it does not hang up then, if i just wait (for a long time) maybe it will be done. Strange that it does take that amount of time when the ordinary volume calculations is fast.

    My guess is that you have something strange in one of your AOIs that is causing the issue - try running without AOIs first and if fast add in each AOI till you find the one that causes the speed issue - I would look for short or loop or crossing segments as those can create lots of little overlap areas which h is where the time goes tracking each area

     

    I can look tomorrow but almost for sure it is the AOI
