Hi!

Since i updated to 5.3 i have som scaling problems and i dont know why.

For example i have to multiply scale style with 100 to make lines show as they should and when switching to drafting lines are solid again. Texture on a surface looks good in planview as in the picture but not in sheetview, in there the scaling of the picture is to big. If i try to label a grid i cant se the text because its 100 times to small. 

I have not changed anything in the settings and i dont know how to fix this, the problem did occur after uptating to 5.3. 

Anyone know wich settings are wrong? 

What is your plot scale set to - this will have an impact on the Sheet View scaling for sure.

A change to linetype scaling was made in 5.31 (I believe it was 5.31 and not 5.32) because the calculated scaling on cadlines imported was incorrect. There was no change that I am aware of to Textures or Text Styles so most likely that is affected by the plot scale applied to the plan view and the text styles you have defined - i can run some tests on that to see if i can replicate what you are seeing.

I assume you are texturing a surface in plan view and then Dynaviewing into Sheet View to create your drawing outputs.

On the Textures I see what you are seeing - the scale in Sheet View is way off - If I have a scale of 2 for plan view I have to have a scale of .02 in Plan View to get the same effect as 2 in the plan view in the sheet view.

You change the scaling for the Texture in the MSI Manager right? (I assume that is what you are doing ...

I will check the Text Scaling Next and will log this issue in on Monday

I am not seeing the same issue with Text Styles in a Grid - I have my text height set to 0.1 inch in Sheet Units and if I create a grid and then change the scale of the Dynaview - the grid text is always 0.1 inch in Sheet view - so that looks OK to me - Are you using Sheet or Ground Units for the Text? And I assume you are placing the Grid on a Dynaview in Sheet View. I would need to see the settings you are using for the Text Style and the Sheet Scale / Dynaview Scale to see what is happening

I can see an issue with Linetypes where the lines have embedded text. I also however see an issue with your Template - you have the Plan View Plot Scale set to 1 by default, so that is part of the issue - but I can see an issue with linetype scaling and embedded text scaling from CAD files that I will dig into this week with development.

Will let you know what we find out
