How do i adjust so my profile table wont be int the grid? If i change the scale it will be better but other things f*** up. Sometimes tje lines are below the grid and sometimes the grid is in the table. How do i fix this?

This is probably an error code 60 så it would be nice with a correct answer.

    Frederik

There are two setups currently supported in TBC and you and all other Swedish Guys want a third which is a Hybrid of the two that already exist. We have a grid approach where each profile is drawn inside a Grid - and that Grid can fill the entire column, or just the space occupied by each Profile / Section. The second method is the Table Method where you have no grid but drop lines from the profile at Key Points and Intervals and display the values in Tables below the profiles. What you are trying to do is have both the Grid and the Table which is not a supported workflow which is why you are getting what you are getting. While with a lot of goofing around you may get close - it is really hard to get it to do what you want in current form, and it is hit and miss for sure. The problem is that the Grid was defined to fill the space allotted for each Section or Profile, or the Table was designed to fill the lower part of the Grid space allotted for each section or profile (i.e. the Grid was not designed to sit on top of a space for the Tables and that is why they overwrite each other). Creating this third option is on the radar, and I will submit it again today to make sure that it is on the list, but I know that it is "some work" to get this to work in the current framework, and it has not yet been prioritized.

Aha. Thanks a lot for your quick answer, that explains why i dont get it to work. For once its not error code 60.

Then i have to decide what i want to do, table or grid.

    Thanks again!

For now yes Fred - sorry - I just resubmitted the issue with a link to your

post - all I can do is keep prompting the team to get this on the priority

list. One key for you here as a user is to play back the Geospatial Teams

Marketing Message "Field to Finish with Confidence" if you can relate a

deliverable (i.e. your Finish product (the sections or profiles) problem to

this marketing theme for your region then they have to take it seriously

    ....

I have done that for you here internally (and I agree that we should be

able to produce deliverables for our target Markets and Users - especially

when this is our Marketing Vision and Mission.

Agreed - you can get close with certain combinations of settings

Is there a way to copy my profile and XS settings to another sheet, how do i do that?

I have made both profile and XS settings wich i am happy with for size A1 but now i want to use the same settings in A3. When i create a new sheet set it starts over with another one and i have to do it all again.

What I do is the following

Create a VCL output of the Sheet that you have created and are happy with

    for A1

Rename the A1 Sheet (to A3 for example)

Import it back in again - that creates a second copy of it in the same

Sheet Set / Plan Set and it will be named the same as the original one was

i.e. A1 - so now you have an A1 and A3 with identical settings and you can

start to edit the A3 one to get that as you need it (change Column sizes

    etc for Sections.

Another question. In picture nr 2, wich i have marked, you can see that the lines are going below the grid, why is that?
