The only thing that you can do from Surface Slicer or Cross Section View is to capture a Screen Grab (Capture Image or Windows Clipping Tool or Snagit etc.) - or use the plotting routines to plot Cross Sections at specific stations.
All plotting of Cross Sections and Profiles is tied to the Plotting Routines. and both need an Alignment.
However if you want a Profile between two or more locations you can plot a Profile of an alignment (HAL only or HAL + VAL) - you can create a Linestring along the path that you want to profile, you can then change it's Elevation using Change Elevation to "Drape it over a surface" and then you can make a HAL / VAL from the Linestring.
Then you can create a Profile View and in there you can create a Dynaview Frame (Rectangle) and from that you can create a Dynaview and place it on a plot sheet. Once you have the alignment you can create Surface Profiles through any number of surfaces and you can plot all of those in the output.
Once you have your Dynaview on a Plot Sheet you can Grid the Dynaview with a Grid Style (Add the Grid as a Property of the Dynaview).
I will upload a video shortly
