Does someone have a video for an workflow to use pointclouds in sketchup collected from a SX10 and exported from BC-HCE?

Or maybe it doesent work to do that? It is an extension in sketchup (Trimble scan explorer) to use trimble scan data but i dont have realworks and of course i would like it to work with buisnesscenter.

I have put a question out ton the Geospatial Team as they do all of the Point cloud development in BC/TBC. Based on quick research on the Sketchup Extension warehouse it seems that the Extension you mention requires a RWP (Realworks Project File) in order to work, although it also states that it supports Gridded e57 files, however I dont think we have any way to create a Gridded e57 file either (but I have asked the question internally)

There are also 2 other extensions for Sketchup that may work - one from Undet and another written by D Charlton that state they can import more Point Cloud Formats (that can be exported from BC-HCE (PTS, PTX, RCP etc,)

Take a look on the Sketchup Extension Warehouse and search for Scanner

Maybe you can use those in combination somehow

    Thanks.

I was hoping for an solution with the extension for realworks. If that is possible i dont have to pay 50 euro a month for a subscription. I rather give that money to Sitech for another Businesscenter license.

It will also give me more possibilities with my sitevison, a easier workflow.

Btw, did you have time to look at my project with the cut ´n fill maps wich didnt show with the projected surfaces?

I looked at the projects but need to have you show me exactly what you were doing - so when back from Croatia - let's connect and go over that

You don't need to pay a monthly subscription each month. You can buy a 1-month license for 50€ when you need it without any commitments.
