Lost Project & Drafting Templates?

  • 1.  Lost Project & Drafting Templates?

    So I backed up my ribbon and options, but I inadvertently forgot to do the same for my project and drafting templates before installing TBC 5.2.

    I uninstalled 5.1 via the Windows App manager, then ran the Trimble Cleanup Utility before installing 5.2.

    Am I "SOL" or are the files buried elsewhere because I'm not finding them where they're usually located.

    Project folder is backed up to "C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\Trimble Business Center <yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm>". 
    Templates are deleted.  You may be able to get them from the recycle bin.
    Why do you need to run the Cleanup utility? It is only intended as a last resort for issues with installation.

    Well, I was under the impression that it was best practices. Guess I was wrong and now I'll pay the price. Should be more obvious that everything will be blown out by the routine. i.e. STOP - ALL TEMPLATES WILL BE LOST - DO YOU WISH TO CONTINUE? 

     

    On a positive note, the program seems much more responsive now.

    Just following up: nothing at the path you mentioned above. Unfortunately for me, I had to re-create everything.
