Is the Notifications/News panel down? I'm definitely connected to the internet and I can also load background map so I'm logged in as well.

it was up for me just the other day. IT has been blocking a bunch of social media sights lately maybe they screwed something up. Is there a url that needs to be whitelisted?

See if you can run the command "Checkforupdates"
Yes I can check for updates and I can also browse to that url.....
The last notification i remember seeing in the panel was the Trimble Works Manager post on the 21st.
My panel is still down though.
I think I got a case of the gremlins.......
Yea the IT department has got us screwed up. Going to get that url whitelisted and hope for the best.
I have asked for clarification on which URL needs to be whitelisted here or if there is something else you could do to get it back

We have it sorted out. The AV/Web Filter was set too aggressive. We backed it down and whitelisted the url Erik provided above.
