BC HCE hangs on start up Windows 10 HELP!!!

    I have a toughpad with windows 10 and before new year my BC HCE 4.10 was working fine, something has now happened (updated possibly) and now it hangs on the start up screen showing the task bar halfway with "initializing database", I have tried uninstalling anything that was put on after this to no avail it must be a windows update

     

    Please advise as the software is needed urgently, It still works on my home PC with windows 10

     

    Toughpad is a Panasonic FZ-G1

    Typically when this happens I follow this procedure to try and fix things like that.

     

    • Uninstall TBC and any Trimble software that is connected with it.
    • Go into you Program files/trimble and delete and folders that are left that has to do with what was installed
    • Go into Programdata and wipe out those TBC files
    • Run your disk cleanup and do a full shut down

     

    When you reboot, reinstall. 

     

    It will go in fresh and you should be good to go.

    You can also use the TBC Clean up utility to scrub TBC off your PC and then reinstall it. If that fails please come back to us. You can find the Cleanup Utility by Typing Cleanup in the Search on the Forum.
