How do I create a trench template that benches out 800mm every 1.5m deep from surface.

Every 1.5m deep I go, I have to bench 800m then go another 1.5m.

My pipe is 3.5m deep, so I need 2 Benches.

I have tried numerous iterations with differing results.

Any tips appreciated-I have watched the Trench template videos by Alan

    to no avail.

The above link is to a simple example you can import into your project.  The logic is like this.

If the depth is less than 1.5 m, then tie to surface

    If > 1.5 m, Go up 1.5 m and over 0.01

    If > 0.01, Go up 0.0 and over 800mm

If the depth is less than 1.5 m then tie to surface

    If > 1.5 m, Go up 1.5 m and over 0.01

    If > 0.01, Go up 0.0 and over 800mm

Repeat to cover the anticipated depth.

The Utility project templates have similar examples.  When you define the template test several preview heights to make sure it does what you want.

I would encourage anyone with custom templates to share them with others.
