    Hi,

Since I installed v5.21 I have a problem when I create a Job Site Design. After select a surface, stakeout points and design map, going in the new folder created by TBC (Trimble SCS900data-->Site-->Designs-->Created folder) no file is save or display, the folder is empty (no ttm,csv or dxf files). If I create a new work order a crash window compare and no work order is created. Anyone has same problems or can you give me indications about this issue?

    Thanks in advance

I have noticed this problem as well … I have actually had to use SCS Data manager to get new designs and work orders out to the field.

I'm doing some test and It seems that the problem can be solved, selecting a project library during the job site creation. Can you confirm?

    Hi Paolo,

As you noticed, there are issues in TBC v5.21 where assigning controllers fails unless you have a Project Library folder OR a WorksManager Project assigned to the Job site. The issue has been fixed for the next release, but in the meantime the suggested workflow be assigning a Project Library folder for your Job Site.

What I don't understand is, why when a critical issue such as this becomes known, Trimble does not notify each and every TBC customer of the issue and the work around, the moment it becomes know and confirmed. Otherwise, users are spending an inordinate and unacceptable amount of time (aka wasting time) either finding the workaround themselves or simply failing in frustration. The product we produce with TBC is worthless if we can't get the information out to the field to consume. Imagine a multi-million dollar project stopped because we can't get the information out to the field in a timely manner and we're not lucky enough to stumble upon the work around. It's unacceptable. Also keep in mind that not everyone uses this forum. Please reconsider your approach when dealing with critical defects such as this.
