What can cause a point to not be computed?

The crew has run a nice tight traverse and is collecting data / side shots along the run. When I bring the .job file into tbc, I noticed that there are some points that are not able to be computed.

I viewed the optical data spreadsheet and the raw data file and there is data for the horizontal angle, zenith angle and slope distance collected. It appears that this happens when do their rounds / turns to set a new traverse point, but then continue to collect addition side shots before they pick up and move to the next traverse point.

    Any suggestions?

I have this same issue with locations from two independent setups.  It can compute locations prior to traverse adjustment but not after.  What the fix here other than manually processing in a separate file?

Thanks for nothing community, but for others who might stumble on this, ensure your traverse is set to adjust automatically.

        • Adjust automatically - In this mode, whenever the project is computed, the traverse adjustment is also computed and any changed traverse-adjusted coordinates are saved. In this manner, the coordinates dynamically respond to changes in the input data.
Adjust manually- In this mode, whenever the project is computed, the traverse adjustment is also computed but no changes to the current traverse-adjusted coordinates are made. However, if a re-computed coordinate is out of tolerance with the current coordinate based on settings in Project Settings > Computations > Traverse, a flag is placed on the station alerting you that you need to manually recompute the traverse using the Adjust Traverse command pane.

    Hey John,

Could you provide the dataset you are seeing this with.
