Creating a hundreds of lines from center of arc to intersection. I am helping the structural engineer design the rail track for Gomaco 450 on skewd bridge.

• Snap to center (arc) doesn't work
• Need a keyboard short cut to create a new line and at the end of video shows I can right click a "new" but one keyboard shortcut is way better if it's available.
• By the way, copy and pasting line is not going to work because line direction/azimuth is slightly different.

Snap to Arc Center is working for me - are these ARCs included in a longer line or single arc elements? are they in a Linestring or in a Polyline?

If you set up a keyboard Shortcut for eg Create Linestrring or Create Polyline then when you are creating the line 1 you can hit your shortcut and it will re run the command - if it is Polylines, you have to then click in the Next location field before you can draw a line. For linestring this will pull up the linestring definition before getting to the linestring editor

I tried the Quick Linestring Macro and you have to Esc before running it again (I will pass this back that for example hitting N for New and C for Close etc would be nice to have if in a command (maybe ALT N or ALT C)

For Center I guess you mean the Radius Point - set your Running Snap to include Center of Arc - to get that center point to show up you need to briefly hover over the arc itself to show the center point - however if you have hundreds of arcs as it looks like you may, I can see how it would get confused and I can also see it would be hard to select the right center - so Right Click Snap center of arc is safer and then you click the arc and it picks the center. This worked fine for me on a single arc - and for a linestring including arcs

If your ARCs have UCS it may not work - look at the properties of the arcs - if they came from AutoCAD then they could have UCS and then the Snaps may fail to work correctly - if that is the case send me the file, however I would be very wary of this if the Arcs do have UCS values.

Those circles created from TBC using circle command. It will work if i click the snap indicator inside the circle/radius point but not if I click the arc itself. If I hover on top of the arc, snap indicator will show in the radius center but I thought that it will snap to center if you click the arc once the snap "center point" is check.I want to be able to click the arc so i won't have to zoom in out and out because of so many circles that I will get lost.
