I'm trying to deploy Trimble Business Center 5.10 through SCCM but I can't seem to find a good enterprise deployment guide. We don't want to give users Admin rights to the PC since some of our users are out in the field. Anyone had luck with deploying TBC through SCCM?
I can't help you with the enterprise deployment but I can tell you TBC users need admin rights, there is just no way around that part of it.
Silent, Preconfigured Installations, that require no user intervention please!
I managed to get it SORT Of silent but I had to run the gambit of figuring out what part of the install causes a machine to reboot. Setup.exe /silent seemed to do the trick but the Trimble Planning stuff still popped up needing user intervention.
These are somewhat dated but might have some useful information.
Derek,
You can always find the latest TBC Enterprise Deployment Guide installed here:
C:\Program Files\Trimble\Trimble Business Center\Support\iv, and can often get answers from this group as well:
Trimble Business Center for Construction

It's possible to retrieve the deployment guide without actually installing TBC. Run the initial Setup.exe file. Once the Trimble install window appears go to your %TEMP% folder. On Windows 10 it will be C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp by default. Open up any folders that were recently created and one of them will contain the deployment guide. The English deployment guide is named Enterprise Deployment_1033.pdf. There is also an Installation Guidelines and Troubleshooting guide that you may find useful.
