In my company many users need to have access to a TBC project to export data, but those users sometimes make edits by mistake and change the TBC project - creating a n error. I would like to be able to complete the project, lock the file so it can no longer be edited - essentially making it an "authoritative" final data file. Is there a way to lock a TBC project and prevent other unauthorized users from making changes?

One way to "lock" a VCE project file is to right-click the file in your Windows Explorer, select Properties, and select Read-only. The file can still be opened and viewed, but if you make changes it can be saved only with a different name using the Save-As command.
