I urgently need your advice regarding the option CREATE DYNAVIEW.

    I defined by a rectangle/linestring/polygon/polyline/boundary a portion

of my data model which has to printed on A4 sheets created as a VCL template,

the whole border line (see red arrow on the picture below pointing to border line)

around all area is ALSO printed (what is unwanted!)

I need to avoid it, I do NOT need to print on A4 sheet the border line itself which surrounds

the portion of the data model, which has to be printed!

How to SWITCH OFF the printing of the border line in TBC v5.20 ?

    Hiya

The easiest option would be to put it in another layer and then turn it off.

If you still see it in your plot view then you should check your A4 Plans Properties (right click on your A4 Plans in Project Explorer and click properties), making sure that you have changed your "View Filter" setting to My Filter

    hope this helps

    Cheers

    Hello Fraser,

I already did it a few days ago (see picture below, layer Create Dynaview), however – it does NOT function!

After printing it to a PDF file, I get an empty output (see picture below):

    A couple things.

Draw the boundary that will be used for the Dynaview limits in the plan view. It can be a rectangle, whatever. Put it on a layer you will disable i.e. "Temp".

When you create a Dynaview, you will be asked to select a "Frame" which will be the rectangle or polygon you drew in the plan view. It will ask you for a layer again. Give it a layer, but don't layer it the same as your boundary in the plan view.  Call it Dynaview Contents or something like that.

Once you have snapped the Dynaview onto the plan, just go to the filter manager and disable  the "Temp" layer and you should be set.

If you created a Dynaview Collection, the procedure is different.

    Many thanks Chad!

Now it works as required (no border line is printed into a PDF file, only the content surrounded by a border line).

Now, the staking out design (in slovakian: VYTYČOVACÍ NÁČRT) fullfils all the norms required by the cadastre authority in Slovakia.

Just one remark and maybe some stimulation to streamline/simplify such feature in TBC:

It would be much more easier to invent a check box (option) when printing a sheet or sheets into a PDF file with a text

like INCLUDE BORDER LINE FOR PRINT/EXPORT.

When such check box would be checked, the border line would be printed/exported to the PDF file

    along with its content.

When the check box would be unchecked, the border line itself would NOT be printed/exported to the PDF file

(only content within the border line would be printed/exported).

Again – many thanks for your valuable help!

    Best wishes!

    Martin
