Autosave?

Why has autosave not been implemented in TBC? Are there any plans to add it? I'm tiered of losing work at crashes.

Not sure you are aware of this in the options section. Though this doesn't auto-save, it is a nice thing to set up so that you do not lose work. You can set it to 5 minutes and you likely wouldn't lose much work in the event of a crash.

    From the TBC Help:

Set a Reminder to Save Your Project

Use project management options to set a timed reminder that prompts you to save your project. When enabled, the Save Reminder dialog appears at an interval you specify.

Caution: Any time that you save your project, the 'stack' of actions that you can undo is cleared; you cannot undo past the last time you saved.

    To access the command:

Select Options > General > Project Management.

I added "autosave" to the topic as a keyword to make it easier to find.

Thanks David, it just seems to me that automatically saved backup file that could be easily recovered (as in AutoCAD) would be very nice to have and much less annoying than a reminder always popping up. Thank you.

I have noticed the latest version of TBC is quite stable if you haven't upgraded.

I agree the reminder is a pain.

I set it to 30 mins and that is often enough for me - I dont see crashes too often in 5.2x

@Thomas Mauriello I agree, but unfortunately 5.2 didn't make my computer any more stable. LOL
