We use controller software version 12.8 when configuring machines for sites. Since updating to 5.2, all machines have disappeared except for four - two of those were configured as version 12.0 and two were configured as version 12.4.

When I select to create a new machine in the controller manager, version 12.8 is no longer an option and I suspect this is the reason most of our machines no longer appear in the assignment lists.

I believe there is a checkbox you need to select when installing TBC 5.2 for that version.

I ran the install again, chose modify, and there is a checkbox "Add machine control exporters for GCS900 12.5 through 12.8" on the screen that asks for the install path. But that checkbox is grayed and unselected. I'm assuming the 'Modify' option isn't able to change that selection, so I'm going to uninstall first and try installing from scratch. Stay tuned.

Follow up: the "Complete" install option does not offer the optional machine control exporters, which is how I missed installing them in the first place. You have to select the "Custom" option to get the checkbox. I have the install cranking away right now, and I expect this will solve the issue.
