I am trying to preform a takeoff and I want the amount of silt fence that is need to be included in the takeoff. I have created silt fence as a material and also created a Liner site improvement for silt fence. Now this is where I am stuck when I go to the site improvement command and open the drop down list of site improvements the silt fence improvement does not show up. Is there another command to assign linear site improvements or am i just doing the processes wrong?

If you are using the Takeoff Tool to compute this then you will need to make sure that the Site Improvement Type is assigned to the Layer on which you placed the Silt Fence - see the video for a show and tell
