Layer Manager - I am getting too many layer groups when importing layers

    When I import layers from that have been exported from another TBC project, I am getting all of the layer groups that were in the original TBC project that I exported the layers from. It does not make a difference if you export just one layer or multiple. Ideally I would like for only the layer groups associated to the layers I exported to come through. 

     

    In the video, I would ideally like to just get a layer group Proposed Building for the imported layers.

    I have a request to be able to select Layers from the Layer Manager and only Export the Selected Layers not all Layers in the Export process - this would resolve the issue that you are seeing. I currently create my Master project with all Layers and Layer Groups, and then have to open the Master, delete all the layers and Layer Groups I don't want and then Export and repeat this for every combination that I want to Export - I agree that is not at all convenient and would like to see this improved.

    Being able to export/import only 1 layer has been implemented but you still get all of the layer groups from the original project. 

     

    You can delete the extra pretty quickly but it would be nice if it only created the layers groups that are associated with the layers imported.
