Feature Request - Trim between two lines

In Autocad programs you can quickly trim line work between two lines by selecting the lines you want to use as bounds and then selecting the lines to trim between these bounding lines. I use to use this quite a bit when cleaning up contours between edge of pavement and curb lines(among other things, such as building linework) . This is similar to the clip command in TBC, however in Autocad programs, you do not need to have a closed linestring to run this command.

The thing I don't like about the clip method is that I find myself creating lines to essentially delete lines. With tools such as track region or create side slope, you  can pretty quickly create a boundary but it would be nice to avoid this step. Especially when it is just one or a couple of contours. When this is the case, I will just break at the crossing linework and then delete out the unwanted segment.

    Thanks!

I use the last of the Clip command options to do this - then the Clipping Lines do not have to be closed - you will just get a break at each clipping crossing and then you can delete the line parts that you don't want (or relayer them or take them out of a surface etc.)
