Where can I find point metadata from an spj?

Is there a place that I can find point metadata in TBC?

    Items such as:

    • Operator Name
    • Time
    • Date
    • Target Height

If these are not available in TBC can we please make them?

I am currently trying to create a bill for a project where left material on site for the customer. When I import the spf files, the measured date comes in as the date that the file was last modified for the spf surface. Which in this case is the last time the user synced to TCC. Ideally I would like this to be the date of the last point measured.

I tried to go into the point metadata but I could not find this within TBC.

If you open the Work Order Report for the SCS900 / Siteworks Work Order - all the points have a Date and Time field and you can get the data from there. If you set up a Custom FXL file where you store Date and Time on the Points being recorded (where they are stored as an Attribute), then you can recall that data from the points themselves in TBC, however we do not import all of the data stored with the Point by SCS900 (because there are a lot of things logged with the point like Lat, Long, Height, Tolerances, Dates, Times, Deltas (if a Grade Check etc.) and we dont bring all that data into TBC because it would make the points exceedingly "Heavy" objects. If you create an FXL file that has attributes you want to see on the Points, Date and Time are attributes you can add - however we see that as something you want as a user for specific reasons such as this. Recording those attributes in the field can be automatic and does not burden the user unnecessarily in the field. The Work Order report is the best place to get that otherwise.

If I may suggest,  when a Siteworks site is Synchronized, a new "record.txt" file needs to be generated.  That way when the work order is downloaded from within WorksManager,  in addition to the .spj file,  The "tasklog.txt" and "record.txt" is included in the Output folder.  One could then use the "Siteworks Report Utility-64.xlsm" spreadsheet to view the metadata of the points.  This process of creating the record.txt from within WorksManager doesn't exist as of 3/17/22 but would be very helpful.

While it's not in TBC and probably not as user friendly the data is accessible, you can get this data in a CSV export.

If you export your measured data as CSV from Siteworks/SCS with "Include QA Data" option checked, it will give a very full record of all the data associated with the point. Data will be in the Work Order folder under Output.
