Is there a way to hide or silence certain updates for specific components? I like seeing that there are updates available but there are certain modules that I do not care about. For instance UASMaster. I would like to be able to hide or silence this from the Notifications window on the Start Page.

It was probably some other piece of software but it seems that in v2.x or v3.x one could right click on the update and remove/hide it from the list. I know that was how Windows 7 updates worked.

Also once upon a time I was told to install all the updates because of how it all linked together. Then the UASMaster was added and eventually I was told I didn't need to install these. Now they just keep populating Check for Updates and I keep ignoring them. So while I support having the option to not see some update items my concern would be it possibly failing and hiding items I want to see.

Same here, Pat.  I've installed UAS master on my system with absolutely no intent of ever using it just to not get the update notification every time.  Not a big deal, but its nice not to have extraneous stuff (starting to feel like Samsung TouchWiz).
