Cases where I see this coming up frequently are projects where you have overlapping pdfs that you need to clip. DOT projects are a good example of this. My process would be: I would create and apply the image boundary around the plan data (Sometimes already available in the cad files as a vport). Once I have a image boundary, I would just use this as a dynaview because it is encapsulating the information I want to reproduce or share for deliverables. It helps to keep the information more consistent to the original data provided to us. This is useful when working on large projects where you are piecing a lot of pages together because of paper size constraints.
For now, I will keep the offsetting in mind as that is a pretty quick and painless work around.
Thanks for investigating Alan and the feedback!
