When you explode a block, its dependents lose their file association in selection sets.

    When you explode a block, its dependents lose their file association? Is there a way to avoid this? This would keep them associated to their imported files and make the section sets more powerful. 

     

     

    Example:

    1. Bring in two cad files 
    2. Run cleanup project
      1. Cleanup project does not filter duplicate blocks

     

    Work around would be:

    1. Bring in CAD files 
    2. Explode blocks in each respective file
      1. Blocks lose their selection set associations to the file they were imported from
    3. Manually reassign blocks entities to selection sets
    4. Run Project cleanup
    5. This would no cleanup up the blocks or at least their contents
