    As someone that prepares as-built data, it would be very useful to have a way to quickly correct text that is misspelled or incorrect.

     

     

    Excel Tricks: Using Excel Find and Replace in the most efficient way 

     

    Any tips or tricks on this?

    consider using the points spread sheet.  You can select them here and change the common property in the property pane.  Advanced select can also be used to search for common parts of a property.

    I think I tried this but it didn't quite do what I wanted to. I will give it another go and give specific feedback to this function.

    In Excel Find & Replace-  just type in "tight" for find and "light" for replace.

    We have a similar issue.  Has to do with Start and End for the codes.  The old school folks in the office use Terramodel and the new school are just now picking up TBC.  The field crew place a " + or -" at the begining of the code and Terradmodel picks this up as start and end.  Where as TBC will not and i have only seen TBC pick up the Start and End after the code.  Which i had to go get Kutools to do a fast swap, find/replace method.   Still trying to get the crew to palce the start and end after the code as Terramodel will also pickup this method.

    Very much agree with you. I wish something similar was integrated into TBC, especially this spreadsheet view.
