The advanced slect has some robust options but I think it is missing the option to select a linestring by a specific elevation at least I have not found an easy way to do so. I think there should also be a select between elevations.

Use current selection, then elevation min, then > greater than

Repeat with elevation max, then < less than

The combination of options provides more flexibility, and consistency with all options.

Lines can have more than one elevation.  The elevation min option uses the minimum elevation of the line for the test.  The elevation max uses the maximum elevation of the line for the test.

Understood. You can do it this way it is just not the smoothest process, especially if you are doing this repetitiously. I find myself getting more discouraged than seeing successful results. I will try and document specific issues.

Could the max and min get rolled into one function with a term that would just not apply to that set end. This would save at least 4 steps.
