Could the reference definition for the corridor template be added to the create side slope template? This would be very useful when working on building footings and other cases where the user is repeating the same template.

Please consider because this would dramatically speed up the process of updating the same template used throughout a project.

Examples of templates that would get reused:

• Curb
• Building Footings and Walls
• Concrete Barrier
• Fence

The reference definition is the template that gets updated when the orignal template is modified?  i always use the copy and have yet to use the Reference Definition.

Correct - Reference means if you change this one or the original - all

references get the same edits. Copy is a detached copy of the original -

edits made are unique to this one in use.

okie dokie,  so even if the reference definition template is modified,  it will modify the original template?  If it does change the orignal template can we have a new definition that will not allow the new template to make changes to the orignal template?

Use the Copy method if that is what you want - that is what that is for.
