In the corridor template editor and the slope/elevation command, it would be useful to have the option to set the slope criteria to slope by depth, the same function found in the side slope command. The reason for this would be for modeling safe slopes that meet OSHA requirements and how it would be performed in the field.

In the case I demo in the video, I accomplished this by creating a plane surface for my bottom of slab and then using the side slope command instead of the slope/elevation command in the template editor. 

There is still value in having the option to use slope by depth in the slope/elevation command. There are many cases where you may not have a full surface or it doesn't make sense to have a surface.
