Side Slope - Model Stairs

Has anyone used the side slope to model stairs? I have a delta elevation that I want to fit the stairs in and a template but I don't think there is a way to have the side slope repeat a pattern for a set distance (horizontal or vertical).

I can manually model this but there are numerous town houses on site and I want to make sure that the walkways match the buildings and the ditchline.

I am thinking there needs to be an instruction called "repeat" that would allow you to repeat a group of instructions until a target value is met. This could be valuable for retaining walls as well. In this case a vertical distance would be the control value but I could see a use for horizontal controls as well (Striping)

Try the sideslope with depth table instruction that should work - you need to target a surface though - I dont think we can do that with a target z only right now - but that does repeats till it hits a surface or material layer - so you could define a material layer in the template and target that I think

You can build templates for different numbers of stairs etc and then use the appropriate one

I do see a tool for this though
