When I try to make a template for my corridor 5.20 crashes.  Completely shuts down business center.

    I'm using command "InsertCorridorTemplate"

It does it on all jobs so I don't think it is a data problem

I have attached a simple test job, with a horizontal and vertical alignments

    Any Ideas ?

    Ron

The VCL file works for me OK - I import into a Basic US Survey Foot Template and then go to Project Explorer and select the Corridor and Insert Template and it creates it no problem.

The issue you have could be caused by one of two things I guess

    1) The Project Template into which you are importing the data or creating the data has some type of corruption on it that causes this issue - try importing into a Blank basic US Survey Foot Template or Metric Template (whichever units you are using) and see if that works for you

    2) It could be that your installation has corrupted in some way causing this issue - try reinstalling the software and see if that solves the problem - you should deinstall and then run Cleanup and then reinstall in this scenario to make sure you have a clean install.

Since TBC is starting OK - I think it is more likely 1 than 2 of the above options. Take your current Template out of the equation first and then if that fails try the second option.

It is not a defect in TBC v5..21 or v5.3 at least as it is not happening on my setup and I use Corridors all the time, so that indicates a local issue unless others are also seeing this, and to date noone has highlighted this to me with 5.2x or 5.3 so far.

    Alan,

you are correct about it being a problem with my install.  I can get it to work on my desktop, but not on my laptop.

    I will reinstall

    thanks for the help
