Tom: I downloaded the file and it opened without showing that error. I also tried it in V4.12 without a problem. Sorry, that doesn't help much.

Thanks for the checking. I was able to bring into V4.12 also, save project then open in 5.0. Not sure what is going on.

Makes for a fun Saturday .

Tom: the file does load VERY heavy. By that I mean it is very slow once loaded. I ran a data cleanup on it and that improved it only slightly. I have run much bigger DWG's (in terms of file size) in TBC that don't behave this way. I also opened it in C3D 2019 and it is fine...

    So, again not much help.

    Have a good day,

    Marshall

Try moving the CAD files to a shorter Path name like c:\Test and see if that makes any difference

Alan, it did not. I also renamed.

    Thanks

    Tom

I also see the same behavior - I have posted a Q for Development on this

and will get you an answer on Monday. You can import this file into v4.12

of BC-HCE and then save the Project and then open the Project in v5.0.

Apologies for the inconvenience on this, will try and resolve ASAP

    Thanks for reporting the issue

Alan, Look at the error I have when exporting from the same problem .dwg.

There are some spline leader lines that seem to give the error. When I turned the layer off that contained the leader, no problems.
